Refund policy

At Small Pepper Studio, every piece is handmade with care, intention, and artistic detail. Because each item is custom-made or created in small batches, the following policies help protect both the artist and the customer.


1. All Sales Are Final (Handmade + Custom Work)

Due to the nature of handmade and made-to-order clay pieces, all sales are final.
We do not offer refunds, returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed.

Custom commissions involve unique, personalized work that cannot be resold or restocked.


2. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the item and packaging

  • A brief description of the issue

We will review the claim, and if approved, we will:

✔ Replace the item (if possible)
OR
✔ Issue a store credit of equal value

Small Pepper Studio is not responsible for damage caused by customer mishandling after delivery.


3. Lost or Stolen Packages

Once a package is accepted by USPS or the carrier, it becomes their responsibility.

We are unable to refund or replace items marked “Delivered” by the carrier.
If a package is missing, please file a claim directly with the carrier.


4. Quality Guarantee

Each piece is handmade and may include slight variations in:

  • Color

  • Shape

  • Size

  • Texture

These variations are normal and part of the beauty of handmade art — not considered defects.


5. Order Changes & Cancellations

Because work begins quickly after a commission slot is purchased, we cannot accept cancellations or changes once an order has been submitted.
